Woohoo!! Buwan ng Wika 2022 was a fun, exciting and successful event! But what did happen in this year’s Buwan ng wika? Let’s go back in time, shall we?
In the month of August, our beloved Filipino teacher, Joseph Laurena gave us activities to do for the buwan ng wika. But these activities aren’t only to be done for the sake of grades, but to really show and express our love for our country and its language.
This year’s buwan ng wika theme is called “Filipino at mga Katutubong Wika: Kasangkapan sa Pagtuklas at Paglikha” Woah! A lot of deep Filipino words, am I right? But despite those deep words, our fellow Royals were able to express their love for our country through writing, composing poems, reciting poems, singing Filipino songs, and more!
Our fellow Royals did not only show their love for our country, but also showed their amazing talents! On Aug 31, 2022 was when we had the culminating activity for the Buwan ng Wika which was held via Zoom. Sadly, we weren’t able to celebrate this face to face, but we still had fun regardless and that’s thanks to the talents and awards showcased by our fellow Royals!
It was eventful, so much stuff happened. and I believe we all hyped each other up a lot, during the awarding ceremony and even before it, in the midst of doing our activities. it was an unexpected bonding experience - Grade 9 Students
We all cheered and congratulated the people who participated and we are all so proud for each and every one! During the program, there were intermissions and we saw some of the performances of our talented Royals! Everyone cheered and hyped them up and till now i’m still in awe of their performances, Royals really are talented aren’t they! At the end of the program, Sir Joseph Laurena gave a heartfelt and meaningful speech. And after that, the Buwan ng Wika event officially ended.
