New School Year, New Season

Have you ever felt excited and anxious all at the same time? Well, actually, I have. Let me share my experience with you on what happened when I switched schools.

Switching schools has always been on my mind ever since Grade 5. It was really a huge change for me when I suddenly transferred from a big school to a small one.  It was pretty hard for me to understand what I really felt because of my mixed emotions of excitement and anxiety. It gave me a heads up on what to expect for the next enjoyable and thrilling opportunities and experiences to come my way.

It was quite hard for me to leave because of my old friendships that were growing farther and farther apart each passing day, although leaving that school made me feel at ease and helped me make new friends along the way.

Everything pretty much changed after the switch, including my personality. I found myself being happier and more cheerful when I entered a healthier, and more positive environment after leaving behind my old, toxic one. It's been an incredible journey, and I'm really grateful for all the enjoyable moments that have helped me grow, that came my way.

Transitioning to my new school has been much easier than to my old one. The warm welcome that I’ve received in a friendlier, healthier environment really surprised me, with amazing and cheerful classmates who made it easier for me to develop a joyful personality.

Unlike my previous school, I was given more opportunities and events that allowed me to enjoy them and not be overwhelmed or be pressured to win. It made me feel confused to know if I have joined to have fun or joined to just win.

This school surprised me with an amazing and supportive staff that encouraged me to feel better about myself and truly enjoy my surroundings; They encouraged me to communicate and to participate, never letting anyone feel left out.

The smaller classes allowed us students to receive more attention and participation from teachers, which really helped me and made it easier for me to understand new contents, topics and lessons more very well.

The brand-new activities that came helped me understand what I really wanted to do and allowed me to share my interest with others who had similar interests. Overall, The positive and welcoming atmosphere and environment that made this transition a very joyful and enjoyable experience.
