PERSPECTIVE OF A RETURNING STUDENT

With online classes starting to become the new normal, I was weirded out by the possibilities of what the school year would be like. I thought there wouldn’t be much interaction compared to the last school year, considering the fact that all of us would only be attending classes virtually through Zoom, listening to our teachers during the lessons, and moving onto the next period without an actual conversation with my fellow classmates.

I fully expected Christian Legacy to discontinue and cancel the school events this time due to the circumstances we are facing. To my surprise, they announced that they were still going to do the school events, however, modified to adapt to our virtual reality.

I believe that the reason for them continuing on with the events despite other schools abandoning school events entirely is for us to have an opportunity to grow, enjoy ourselves, have more interaction and bonding with each other, and to have loads of fun as we would have if there was no pandemic or quarantine ongoing in the first place. So with that being said, I was psyched about this happening.

I’m very much looking forward to what’s in store with our events this school year, and I hope you are as well.
