Summer's Out, Classes Are In

Have you finished watching everything on your movie list? How about making up for those pulled-up all-nighters? Well, I hope you did as summer has come to an end and classes are back. Now, do not put up a frown, thinking it is just another year of hopping from meetings to meetings.

Online classes are one of the unwanted realities we have to face due to COVID, but it does not have to be boring! Christian Legacy had something new up in their sleeves for this School Year!

So, what is in store for us, Royals?

We will be having some fresh faces in CL. Our school has welcomed new teachers and students to the CL family, meaning we will be building new friendships and further encounter excellent mentors. We will be making memories with them throughout the year!

No more cliffhanger discussions and crammed activities for this year! Compared to last year’s 40-minute classes, some extended to 1 hour and 30 minutes. There will be certain breaks during and after every session to tone down screen exposure. The bright side of this would be less rushing of discussing the lesson and doing the activities as we will have enough time to do so.

ROYAL AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES! During the Chapel Hour session with Ms. Joy Muleta, she discussed the FIRST EVER Royal CLUBS and Royal COUNCIL. The Royal Clubs consist of DIY Club (Do it Yourself or Art Club), Royal Tribune (Our Newspaper), Makatang Maharlika (Preserving Filipino Culture), The Stochastes Club (Math and Puzzles), The Step-Up Club (Dance Club), The Royal Tunes (Music Club), AFTRSKL Club (by ENC), and Classical Book Club. Each one to indulge each student’s interest.

The Royal Council, on the other hand, will be the bridge between students and teachers. It consists of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and P.R.O. They would help us have more fulfilling and enjoyable activities and events!

Despite the barriers in learning the pandemic has brought us, Christian Legacy found a way to make Online Classes more memorable. Do not let these barriers hinder you from having fun while learning. Make worthwhile memories!
